[9S wasn't familiar with the region. None of it matched what data he had downloaded regarding the regions that he and 2B had been assigned with the Resistance. He had been on another assignment with 2B but he's lost track of her, his visuals and scanners had all gone dark and the next think he knew, he'd woken up in a forest.
The local wildlife was odd, nothing like what was in the Ruined City. And there was a distinct lack of machine lifeforms but he kept his guard up, ready to swing his sword or hack into one of them at a moments notice. Without an Operator supporting him and his pod, or 2B to provide actual combat support. He'd have to be careful.
Nines continues to wander for awhile, eventually detecting a break in the trees and a lifesign to boot! Different from the ones he'd already come across, several corpses left behind when he'd discovered they were as hostile as machine lifeforms. That was enough to get him curious.
Getting closer, and being noticed, Nines tilted his head slightly at he looked the Exarch over.]
